5th Annual Amor Golf Tournament
September 16, 2008 – 4:49 pmIf it wasn’t for the annual Amor golf tournament, I probably would have never taken an interest in the game. Thankfully, Baja Bound has been a sponsor and participant in the tournament for the last three years and it really got me excited to become a better golfer and improve my game each time. Best of all, it is for a great cause! Amor coordinates group mission trips to Mexico where volunteers spend a week building a home for a poor family living in poverty. Baja Bound provides Mexico insurance for a lot of their volunteers, and also provides Mexico insurance on the Amor staff vehicles. This year, the golf tournament will be held at Morgan Run in Rancho Santa Fe. Amor is hoping to raise $60,000 for their Casa de Amor program, which would effectively build 25 homes for poor families in Baja.
