A Perfect Baja (work) Day

Rosarito Surfing

Yesterday was a perfect Baja (work) day. We had a handful of meetings in Rosarito and got down to the border just before 11. Traffic was light, the sun was shining and the surf looked really fun. When we stopped in at Los Pelicanos for lunch at around one, there was barely any wind, the ocean was as blue as it gets, and a handful of surfers were enjoying the shoulder high peaks coming in right in front of the restaurant. The waiter and I both expressed our longing to be surfing at that very moment, but since we were both working, this view was not a bad option. I was able to snap this photo from where I was sitting with my digital camera. The meetings went excellent, and we got to know some great people working to promote the beauty of Baja that we know and love. It is days like this that make me love working to promote our Mexican insurance services. Heading back across the border the Sentri lane only took about five minutes, which was excellent. So, even though I did not get to enjoy the surf, or relax on the beach, it truly was a perfect Baja (work) day.
