Baja 1000 Starts Next Week!

The Baja 1000 will kick off next week and run from November 20-23. The race will begin in Ensenada and end in La Paz. As of today, the Score International website reports 371 total entries for the event, with notable racers such as Robbie Gordon, Jesse James and Malcolm Smith all in the mix. The Baja 1000 began back in 1967 and has run every year since except for 1974. The race features several different classes of competition based upon the vehicles used, including trophy trucks, buggies, motorcycles and ATV’s.
Although the Mexico insurance we sell does not cover vehicles that are involved in a race such as this, we do offer coverage for many of the team support vehicles and race vehicles as they are towed in and out of Baja. In addition, we do sell quite a bit of Mexican insurance to spectators that follow the race as it goes down the peninsula.
