Baja Beach Bash 2011
Baja Bound Mexico Insurance was stoked to head south with the Baja Beach Bash crew for their 2011 moto ride. We spent a couple of great days following with the chase crews and shooting video of the riding action. The event is put on by Tim and Jen Morton of Baja Bound Moto, Johnny Campbell of JCR Honda and Cameron Steele of Desert Assassins fame. Although the ride is mostly for fun, it does have some competitive moments. Riders compete in a pretty brutal hill climb down near San Quintin and also do a circle race. Proceeds from the ride are donated to the Santa Marta Orphanage in San Vicente and the riders get to spend a couple hours playing with the kids and taking them for rides in the courtyard of the orphanage. It is a really big treat for the kids. The video is in the works…so check back soon!
