Baja Bound Blog

After being in business for almost 15 years, you can imagine that Baja Bound has had the opportunity to provide Mexican car insurance for a diverse number of people. Because of this, we have created a new section on the Baja Bound site called the “Client Spotlight” where we will be featuring the stories, experiences and adventures that our clients have had in Baja. So far, the mix of people is truly eclectic, featuring photographers, actors, professional athletes, musicians, off-road racers, humanitarians, business owners, event promoters, tour guides, weekend warriors and more.

The first Client Spotlight will feature Santa Cruz professional surfer Peter Mel, who is regarded as one of the best big wave surfers in the world. I met Peter in 2007 when Baja Bound was the official Mexican insurance sponsor of the Surf Fiesta at San Miguel. Peter was not only competing in the contest, but also serving as announcer for the event. He is a down to earth and incredibly funny person….and was gracious enough to be our first featured client.

We are currently compiling information and doing interviews for our future spotlights and plan on featuring a new client every month in our newsletter. Stay tuned to learn about some of the amazing personalities that love traveling to Baja as much as you do!
