In the middle of the 2011 NORRA Mexican 1000, Baja Bound Mexico Insurance met “Fast Eddy” Martinez broken down at the base of “Cuesta de la Ley”, a brutal stretch of terrain near El Arco. His front end had cracked and needed to be welded back together in order to be driven again. We had all of the Mag 7 pit gear in our trailer, so we unloaded everything and helped Eddy get back on the road. He ended up joining our caravan back to the border, and when we stopped in El Rosario at Mama Espinosas, he pointed out his “Fast Eddy” Martinez 49X poster from back in 2000. It was a great photo opportunity!
