Baja Bound Photo Of The Day – Rosarito Ensenada Bike Ride
The Rosarito Ensenada 50 Mile Fun Bike Ride is always a great weekend in Baja. Since 2004, Baja Bound Mexico Insurance has been the recommended auto insurance provider for all of the participants driving down to spend the weekend in Mexico, and it is always a lot of fun. At the ride last September, we set up near K-38 and took photos of all the riders as they made their way south. The people watching is really interesting, as the riders and bikes come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Some riders choose to wear head-to-toe costumes as well, which has to be a challenge for a 50 mile affair! This curious fellow was festooned with a sombrero and a Mexican flag, and also had a modified “tall bike” to boot. Not sure how he got on and off this thing, but all the more power to him for going for it! The next Rosarito Ensenada Bike Ride takes place on May 14th….see you in Baja!
