For the first time in over 10 years, the Todos Santos Contest is back! Now dubbed the Todos Santos Big Wave Event, the contest will bring together elite big wave surfers from around the world to put it all on the line at the surf spot known as Killers, roughly 12 miles off the Ensenada coast. Invitees include Greg and Rusty Long, Peter Mel, Shane Dorian, Kelly Slater, Taylor Knox, Grant “Twiggy” Baker,  Nathan Fletcher, Coco Nogales, Mike Parsons, Carlos Burle and more. The waiting period for the Todos Contest will be from February 1st to the 28th, and the surf must be at least 30 feet in order for the contest to run. Sponsors for the event include, Baja Bound Insurance, Futures Fins, Linden Surfboards, Baja Tourism Board and Keep A Breast Foundation.

The contest is being organized by legendary surfboard shaper and big wave rider Gary Linden, who put on the first two big wave events at Todos Santos back in 1998 and 1999.
